Co-Founder and Principal
Francesca has built her career around helping others, having learned the value of family and hard work at a young age. Growing up, she spent vacations and weekends working at her family’s second-generation automotive business, where she had the opportunity to work with a financial advisor on the company retirement plan. It was then she realized she wanted to work in finance in order take care of the financial and personal needs of others.
Francesca began her career with The Buckley Group in 2008 and eventually left to build her own practice at Morgan Stanley. In 2014, Investment News named her one of the “Top 40 Under 40” advisors in the country. She co-founded Twelve Points in order to help people and change her clients’ lives for the better. Francesca specializes in working with women in transition or going through divorce, and privately held businesses. She became an Accredited Investment Fiduciary® designee, considered the gold standard for fiduciary care in the financial services industry, in February 2015 and a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst® designee in September 2015.
Francesca considers herself a resource for her clients for more than just financial advice. She was named one of NAPA’s top women advisors in 2016, has been featured in CFO and Fortune Magazine and is on the Forbes Finance Council. Known for her warmth and enthusiasm, she volunteers for the Hope Lodge, Community Servings and the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, for which she runs the annual half-marathon. She also co-founded Marisa’s Mission on behalf of her cousin, who lost her battle to cancer in 2016.
A graduate of Notre Dame Academy in Hingham, Francesca is a member of their alumni board. She went on to receive a B.S. in Finance at Fairfield University’s Dolan School of Business and remains active as president of the Boston Fairfield Alumni Chapter. Francesca grew up in Braintree, where she was surrounded by her Italian-Irish family in a neighborhood built by her grandfather, to whom she attributes everything, and great uncles in the late 1960s. She loves to spend time with her friends and family and enjoys making wine with them over a good laugh at her Uncle Ralph’s winery in Dorchester.
