Andrew McGill

Wealth Advisor

As an industry, we’ve trained people to think that a financial advisor’s job is to debate whether taking a plane, a train or an automobile on a trip is what matters. Before one does that, wouldn’t it be appropriate to figure out where one’s looking to go, then assess which vehicle(s) makes the most sense to use? Diagnosing prior to prescribing is what we stand for here at Twelve Points and I could not be prouder to be a part of this family.

A financial guide in the ever changing landscape of life

From a very early age, Andrew was taught to live by the golden rule, ‘treat others the way you want to be treated’. Today, he uses this approach with all clients to build meaningful and lasting relationships.

Andrew’s role as a Wealth Advisor at Twelve Points Wealth Management is to collaborate with clients and make a positive impact on their financial lives – to educate individuals and families on how to organize, protect, and save their money so they can enjoy their desired lifestyle now and in the future.

Born and raised in Needham, Andrew went on to study at Loyola University in Maryland. He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Information Systems and captained the Division I Men’s Golf Team. Before joining the Twelve Points Wealth Management team, he began his career in wealth management at The Bulfinch Group as a Financial Advisor, where he worked with small businesses, families, and high net worth individuals.

Andrew’s passion for connecting with others extends beyond his professional role. As an avid golfer, he serves as a Certified Coach with the First Tee of Boston, helping kids and teens build life skills and self-confidence through the sport. Outside of work, Andrew enjoys skiing, traveling, and spending time with family and friends with his wife, Caitlin, and their son, Greyson, who keeps them busy and adds extra joy to their adventures.
