Be prepared – Boy Scout Motto; two words that have been instilled in every Boy Scout at an early age. Through years of training, we are taught to Be Prepared to do what is right. Beyond Scouting, being prepared yourself, and helping clients prepare for areas such as investments, insurance, and estate planning, is another way to help the community.
MSFP, Associate Wealth Advisor
Like the three co-founders of Twelve Points, Jared became interested in finance at an early age. After representatives from a local bank came to his elementary school classroom to give a talk about finance, he immediately started a savings account and got hooked on learning how to invest and increase savings. As an Eagle Scout, Jared also enjoys the aspect of helping people through financial planning and performing community service.
As a result, Jared attended Bentley University, receiving a B.S. in Finance with a minor in Management followed by an M.S. in Financial Planning. Through the MSFP program, he learned about investments, how to run a financial services business, and prepared to become a financial planner. While in school, he was co-captain of several intramural sports teams, worked as an Accounting Intern and Clerk for Triangle Credit Union, and most recently worked as a Financial Analyst Intern for Merrill Lynch. Jared has a Series 65 securities license and is pursuing his MA and NH insurance licenses.
Jared has chosen to specialize in working with individuals in the dental profession, having seen the many issues they face financially and on a day-to-day basis by watching his parents run their own dental practice. He remains involved in the Boy Scouts by attending events and participating in the community service projects of prospective Eagle Scouts. For hobbies, he enjoys hiking, mountain biking and watching the Patriots. Jared enjoys spending time at his family’s place on Lake Winnipesaukee with his friends and loved ones.
Jared Bilodeau holds a Series 65 securities license.
